Super middleweight contender Sakio Bika does not think WBO super middleweight champ Joe Calzaghe is capable of beating WBA/WBC title holder Mikkel Kessler. Bika, who lost a twelve-round decision to Calzaghe last October and helped prepare Kessler for his recent bout with Librado Andrade, is very familiar with the styles of both men. [details]

Reid also thought that Lacy was going to knock Calzaghe out, he said that Lacy was a much better fighter.
The whole "I fought them both, so and so is better" argument is pretty dull and inaccurate, styles make fights.. Bika had the style to throw Calzaghe off his gameplan, that's all there is to it.Comment

Sounds like he might be a bit mad at Calzaghe for beating him!
I don't think Kessler is on a different level to Calzaghe all round. There'll be aspects of the game Kessler is better at, he's got a good jab and probably delivers cleaner punches than Joe. Joe is a rugged boxer with good stamina and hand speed. If they meet, I'm picking Calzaghe by decision.Comment

What did u expect him to say about Calzaghe considering the fact that he used to spar with Kessler?. However, to me a Kessler/Calzaghe fight is a toss upComment

Maybe Bika wants to see Kessler and Joe and saying the things he is saying will help the fight materialize.
Humans dont have to say what they really believe. Bika might actually think Joe is in a different league. That is the thing with humans they can say what they want people to believe.
But no doubt Kessler would be no walk in the park. It would potentially be Joes toughest fight in his career.Comment

sparring and actually fighting are two different things. Sakio Bika needs to learn to fight first, or consider a career in wrestling.Comment
