    Underestimating Manfredo...

Mark my words,Peter's going to fight the fight of his life against Calzaghe. He's going to come in with the perfect gameplan, and give Joe a much worse battle then he's expecting. He may pull off the biggest upset of the year,or he may give Joe hell in a close but losing fight.Either way, don't expect a blow-out here.Peter's a far more skilled fighter than what you may have seen on the contender. And he'll actually have ample time to train for this one.

Having skill and repeating that skill on the big stage is a totally different thing...

i get the impression that Manfredo is a choker....in fact the contender was just a game show for chokers who couldn`t reproduce their potential on the big stage.

I can`t see the fight vs Calz being any different....

sure Calz could age overnight or come in unconditioned...but I highly doubt it..

I don't think he's a choker..I just think it was hard for him to adjust to the contender set of rules.Which a lot of fighters better than Manfredo would also likely have trouble doing.Your fighting every couple of days at least in five round fights.I bet it's tough, and his training suffered. All of his fight's before and after the contender were much different.Because he had more time to prepare, plus his regular trainer.Peter has beaten better fighters than the guys on the contender before and since the show.

I think Manfredo is going to give a much better account of himself then people are expecting and this is coming from a Big Calzaghe guy.

Peter cant help but do better then most expect of him because people are predicting a gross wipe out...I would love to see a gross wipe out but something has me a bit cautious.

I hope Im wrong...the Calzaghe lovers and haters of the world must remember one thing....he will never look better then he did against Lacy, its impossible-with that said he can only look worse right?

To many people are just wishing that Manfredo will win. I would like to see him win, but its going to be too much for him. Calzaghe is almost a head taller than Manfredo, has more experience, faster, and more athletic than he is. Manfredo will come out strong, but by the fifth round Calzaghe's movement and crisp combinations will wear him down. Late round KO or UD.

This is all that im really saying.I realize it's a massive long shot that Peter pulls it off.Although that is my prediction.I just think it's going to be a far better showing from Peter than people are expecting.
