at 147, Leonard too much for meldrick. probably late TKO or unanimous decision. Mels best weight was 135-140. SR was a true welter/superwelter

You're right...only very early on in his career for a short time. It'd be something to watch those combinations fly.

srl wouldn't fight him. dundee made sure he never faced a fighter that could match him in hand speed after hearns.
