Manfredo was fighting at his natural weight on the Contender. Peter Manfredo Jr. was one of the few true Middle Weights on that show.
Alfonso Gomez was fighting two divisions up and beat him.
I can not wait for the destruction of Peter Manfredo Jr. They tried to pass this yellow tooth ****** off as a Contender?
Manfredo will be so humiliated he will not even make it back to a fight on ESPN.

Granted hes not on Joe C's level, but hes a better fighter than he showed on the Contender.

Other than Sergio getting cut by a head butt Peter did nothing to merit a win. He did not do enough. Yes he was more competitive than he was in his first bout. He went from an F to an E and Sergio went from an A to a B.
The only thing I could give Peter credit for is that he was not blown out of the water for 7 rounds.
I guess you saw the fight on TV and were led by the nose with the commentary of Teddy, Joe and Tommy G? Don't worry many people were fooled by the cut (head butt) and fooled by the comentary of the biased ring side East Coasters. Guess what? The judges were not fooled. That is what counts. How can you not put away some one you have cut and is sick? Where was his knock out power? If you use Pemberton and Spina as examples, I will laught at you.
Anyway 12 more days and Manfredo is history.

I can see into the future...Manfredo beat's Calzaghe and get's little credit for it because Joe "got old overnight".
