In the latest Marquez interview (yesterday) Marquez said that Barrera claims that the fight for September will not happen because Marquez only wants his money Barrera said that he will not allow Marquez to make money off of him just like that so the fight wont happen. Anyone else saw that?

And did you hear what Marquez's son said when they asked him who his favorite boxer was he said his dad and when they asked him who his second favorite was he said Barrera then the interviewers started laughing and telling him to say his uncle (Rafa) the kid must of been so nervous lol.

Barrera lost the fight. Marquez has been one of the most under rated fighters on the planet for a while now, and I hope he gets the recognition he so clearly deserves now. I think he will and I think he is. He should take defeat like a man, not ***** and moan that he got robbed when he clearly didnt.

When I watched the fight live the first time,I had Marquez winning a very close fight. But when I watched the replay last saturday and actually scored rounds(Sober too)I had Marquez winning by a much wider margin.A lot of close rounds and all,but I could honestly only give Marco about three rounds.

Barrera was robbed a round and a Ko and robbed by the judges. I had the fight 115-114 marquez. But that was based on the KO not being called and the point deduction. If they scored it a kO like it should have been, this fight is a draw and if they scored that round10-9, Barerra wins. it was very close fight and hard to judge, you almost got a pick a winner by opinion. neither fighter clearly won and they must do it again soon. I think MAB will realize this once he calms down and I feel marquez will definitely be game for it.

I scored this fight a draw. Too close and competitive to score a UD for JMM. Barerra got robbed of that one point Nady took away but he was not robbed of this fight. JMM showed true grit and really took it to MAB. It was a good fight...not fight of the year material but still a good action fight.

                      IMO Barerra looked surprisingly good.
