Marquez has won me over big time, but I have always said against a prime Naseem, Marquez would have made Naz look silly for the majority of the fight, but I am sure If Naseem were to land one of his left hand SS-20 missiles on Marquez's chin it would have been good night. The other scenerio is that Marquez would have kicked his ass.

If I'm not mistaken, Hamed was embarrased by Barrera who chose to box and counter him. I don't see any reason why a fighter as intellegent and possibly more technically gifted than Barrera would not do the same. We've seen JMM get hit, we've seen him get knocked down. But time after time, we've seem him come back and win.

Prince Naseem Hamed and Juan Manuel Marquez can fight, say, in July-August because Prince Naseem Hamed is YOUNGER than Juan Manuel Marquez and because Juan Manuel Marquez is still fighting (just knocked out Juan Diaz at 135 lbs).

I voted for The Prince, just because he's the reason why I started watching boxing as a kid. Part of me will always love him, and part of me will always hate the lazy prick for not coming back after Barrera beat him (not counting that 1 fight). He was pretty special, but could have been so so much more.

Prince Naseem Hamed and Barrera can fight again in July-August cos Prince Naseem Hamed is younger than Barrera and cos Barrera is still fighting (Barrera will take on Amir Khan in a few days).

Naz would been beaten. imo naz was not the fighter some try to make out he was. I actually just watched highlights of his career recently an i'd forgot how bad he looked against some pretty poor fighters! When he stepped up to fight better fighters he was exposed. Marquez would have retired him, if he had got there before Barrera.

Man, Naz is like a roach in this website, he never seems to die. Naz couldn't hold JMM jock strap, he's a loud outhed punk who got schooled when he fought a real fighter.
