To be serious, I see Pavlik edging out Miranda. Pavlik fights very well on the outside and he can find Miranda. Miranda will find Pavlik's chin as well, but Kelly is a gritty kid and I believe will be able to handle what Miranda brings. I'm not saying he'll handle it superbly, but Pavlik will stun some people. I haven't been as excited about a middleweight fight like I have been about Miranda/Pavlik in a long time.

That could happen but i dont know if Kelly can take Mirandas punch,if Kelly boxes on the outside he can win,hes got some good boxing skills,if he mixes it up its who ever lands flush because these 2 hit really hard,they both had devastating power,if its a war it can be 1 of the best fights this year,2 very big power punchers goin at it,Pavlik hits harder den Green

Like the earlier poster said, this is NOT PPV, which is awesome for boxing fans. However, the reason they are putting Miranda-Pavlik underneath Taylor-Spinks (which HBO DEMANDED, btw), is to set up a PPV fight between Taylor and the winner of the elimination fight.

The great thing about Miranda-Pavlik is that, even though Miranda is more widely-viewed as the heir apparent, if he loses to Pavlik, we still get a great fight with Taylor-Pavlik, who of course would have earned that shot. Luckily this isn't two showcase fights to set up a bigger fight (see Castillo, Jose Luis and Hatton, Ricky).

Awesome night of boxing on HBO...(I know the Taylor-Spinks fight is a mismatch, but the atmosphere in Memphis will be awesome, you know Spinks' entrance will be hilarious, and I can't wait for more Lamps cheerleading for Taylor).

Having both Taylor and Miranda on the card is a great way of promoting and eventual match between Taylor and Miranda, assuming of course they get past their respective opponents. Lets not be too quick to predict easy victories. Feliciano has shown the world that upsets can happen even in the worst of circumstances.

i agree on both points.... as i said before the pavliks KO of zertuche put any of edison mirandas KO's to shame

pavlik is gonna ba banking rounds with his jab while miranda is trying to land one punch... if this fight goes to the cards miranda doesent stand a chance
