All belts arent equal. The belts are defined by the fighter and his level of opposition.

Calzaghe is a critically and commercially successful fighter (he is rated top 10 in the P4P list, he is undefeated and he sells out big crowds in the UK...it doesnt matter so much where the crowd is, just how much money can be made from it). He has defended his belt 20 times against contenders and other champions and he has defeated an, admittedly green, Jeff Lacy who although perhaps overhyped was still much higher level of competition and expectation than anyone Kessler has fought.

Meanwhile Kessler is a strong belt-holder who needs to prove himself against high-level of competition and impress in the fights to get Calzaghe's attention (as his mind is currently on bigger things). Me personally, I'd like to see the fight happen too, but if Kessler wants it, he needs to make enough noise (by proving himself and bringing good money to the table), which is similar to what Calzaghe has to do in order to get the fights he wants, only he doesnt have to prove himself, he just needs to bring the money.

You are right for the most part. Both Kessler and Calzaghe have to take a chance and make this fight. Kessler needs to fight out of Denmark and Calzaghe needs to live up to his reputation. Both of them are *******, IMO.

I think that your definition of a ***** needs to be drastically altered. I personally would not consider someone who gets punched in the face in an attempt to knock out his opponent could be referred to as a '*****'. Especially when both of them have never been knocked out and have won each of their fights and got to a level of being arguably the best at their weight in the entire world.

They both need the bigger fights and they are both looking for the bigger fights, neither of them appear to be running away. However, it is wise to not give up ALL of your advantaged in this sport.

You are correct, ***** may not be the best word. Maybe the right word would be fairy. Or maybe pansy. **** it, I'll just call them *******.

Calzaghe should of unified the division for years. He has 20 meaningless defenses of that lousy WBO Belt...the same belt that pretender Eubank always had. He should of taken some risks and fought the top guys, made some challenges to Hopkins in his heyday.

Kessler on the other hand. He is still fairly young and can unify. I dont want his career to end up like Calzaghe's.

Is Calzaghe's level of competition that much higher than Kessler's? Why would Calzaghe want to retire with the big question mark out there as to who was the best SMW between him and Kessler?

Miksterious is not Juy. I would not be able to recover if I found out he was.

Emporoar maybe, but I'm leaning against based on this atg skills thing. Juy would have said more.

I know Miksterious isn't Juy. I'm just seeing afew similarities between a few of the people in this thread and Juy (using "of" instead of "have" for example).

I actually quite liked and respected Juy, until I heard him claim that Chris Eubank boxed in front of a worldwide audience of 1 billion people.

There is no coming back from such a statement.
