Having JMM in the top 5 is ridiculous, top 10, MAYBE, but 5 after beating an older version of Barrera? That's just dumb.

that argument makes no sense when winky is moving past middleweight right now to fight bhop...

Yeah Barrera is older, but he still is a great fighter and JMM IMO beat him without a doubt. JMM has been a great fighter for a long time, but not had that huge name on his resume until now. He had a chance at Hamed, but Hamed ducked him on the advice of Steward. Because Steward knew that JMM would give Hamed a lesson. Also his management hasn't made the best decisions for him.

Also why do certain people think the lower weights are overrated. The lower weights you get to see boxing at its best. They have speed, fast hands, heart, determination, and power (maybe not the one punch power that the higher weights do). I am not saying the higher weights don't have this, but more respect needs to be showed for lower weights.

                No, he ducked Hamed.

                This is from Boxrec encyclopedia.

To Hamed's credit, he did offer Marquez a fight in the summer of 2000, but Marquez declined. Marquez did end up getting a title shot against Freddie Norwood.
And I agree that JMM shouldn't be in the top 5 P4P, I'd have him around 7. Winky should be higher.

Yeah i think your right Hamed ducked him for awhile then finally gave him a shot, but Marquez declined which gave the opportunity to Barrera.
