    Name 1 middleweight champ from the past that didnt fight smaller guys, miranda is a moron. Who have you beat? Oh yeah, no one. Fight pavlik and then you can talk about a title shot.

        * He KO'd Eastman, a true middleweight.
        * He went to Germany and arguably beat Abraham, a true middleweight.
        * He fought Willie Gibbs and KO'd him in round 1, a true middleweight.
        * He soundly outboxed and almost KO'd a skillful and undefeated hyped Allan Green, a true Super middleweight.
        * He will soon fight and be heavily favored against a hyped undefeated Kelly Pavlik, a true very large middleweight.

        And he will have done all of this is just over one year's time.
        I'd say he has the right to talk a little smack and the right to call out Jermain's name to fight him.

          gibbs is nothing, eastman was coming off 2 losses. He lost to abraham and beat green, those are his credentials right now. He was so pissed at green because of the way he was dissing him, well what did jermain say to miranda?

            I agree about Abraham BUT Taylor? Taylor beat living lagend in Hopkins TWICE and is Linear champion! And btw Miranda lost to paper champ Abraham who had broken jaw!!! Now thats peoples champion!lol

                I like Taylor for fighting Hopkins twice then Winky,but now it seems he aint really doing anything big,first small Kassim Ouma who gave him a hard fight where he clinched for 9 rounds,then he was gna fight feather fisted Sergio,now feather fisted natural welterweight Spinks

                Winky and Hopkins was hitting Taylor with alot of shots,lets not forget Taylor isnt the best boxer,he has no defence,and people are saying he'd easily outbox Miranda and Pavlik? If he dont learn how 2 defend,he'll end up geting KO'd by Miranda,he hits way harder then Hopkins and Wright

                  Miranda is just trying to pick a fight, thats what you do when you want a title shot. Create a buzz about yourself like Mayorga did and get the big bucks.

                      Even when Miranda retires he will not have had one fight of the magnitude or difficulty of which Taylor has already had three.

                      I'm not a big Taylor fan but he's fought the toughest competition of anyone currently on the p4p list. C'mon you guys cannot complain about a reign in which he gave the outgoing champ a rematch and then followed it up, not with an easy selected opponent, but another HOFer. he deserves a few fights against selected opponents, and honestly Spinks is not bad.
