I think he needs to face a guy like Miranda to get the respect many people have lost for him not fighting guys his own size with power. Almost everyone is upset about him fighting the best 154lbs guys out there. He needs to face 1 or 2 TRUE top middleweights and win to be respected as a great champion.

Well, unfortunately whether you agree or not, many people are losing respect for Jermain. I have no problem with the Ouma and Spinks fights as long as he faces a #1 true middleweight contender or beltholder next.

The Mora thing was a complete joke. Spinks to me is much more respectable.

The only fight he was hurt was the first Hopkins fight, becuase he was losing alot of blood and didn't have good stamina in the later rounds. Hopkins can punch hard if he wants to, I've seen more impressive knockouts by Hopkins then I've seen from Miranda.

Taylor did beat Pavlik and Lacy in the amateurs, Pavlik hits as hard as any middleweight that is currently fighting! Taylor have seen power and never been down in his career, pro or amateur!

Hopkins is not a puncher like those guy he has a decent punching power but not a strong puncher.

in amateurs the rules are different than in pro and the way of fighting is different. so you cant compare both of them Cotto was not good in ameatuer as he is as a pro. and visa versa
