It looked to me like Barrera's jab won him the first fight, just barely. He did not seem to get credit from the judges for his jabs, which he landed a good bit of. In the rematch, MAB will be that much older and who knows what will happen. I hope MAB can secure a win to finish his career, even though I am not a fan of him and want Pacquiao to slap both MAB and JMM.

I think Barerra would make the adjustment to jab more, and do a better job of avoiding the right hand and uppercut. Hes getting older though, and JMM can adjust to anything Barerra does.

I think JMM would still provail.

You had MAB winning that fight? Sure your politcally slow but that has nothing to do with boxing.

                  JMM clearly won that fight!

I hope the rematch happens. Barrera usually makes good adjustments when he fights guys for the seconds time. I thought he beat Jones the second time they fought. Either way, he clearly did much better. He beat Morales the second time. He beat Juarez much more convincingly the second time. He will beat Marquez the second time.

Barrera is obviously not sure if he wants a rematch because hes still upset. That was a huge fight for him and he thought he won it so the guys upset. Thats understandable.

I hope he enjoys a nice vacation with his family and then decides to fight Marquez again in September.

Only thing is though, should Barrera take this fight? This could very easily turn into a trilogy. Then Barrera has himself in 2 more wars. Then if he wins he will likely be pressured to fight Pac. That could easily turn into a war. He said he wanted to reture this year and them figthts wouldnt all happen this year. Kind of messing up his plans and getting into more wars.]

Might be bad for him, but great for the fans!

It will be a sad day the day Barrera retire. Morales will be retiring soon too. No more Barrera and Morales will be here soon. Sad indeed.

At least we will have the Marquez bros, Arce, and all them but none of them compare to Barrera and Morales and what they did for the sport. Those will be very difficult shoes to fill.
