Wait, why was there no open scoring in Barrera-Marquez?

I'm totally against open scoring, but I've yet to find out why the WBC didn't have open scoring in a contest for their junior lightweight belt.

Maybe they realized it ruins the suspense.

or they didn't want anyone to know the judge's got paid off to have marquez win by a huge margin. (i still thought he won)

disagree. i think it wouldve been a better fight, barrera wouldve turned up the heat had he known he was getting butt****ed by the judges.
