CLARIFICATION: Marquez Won but BAD scores, right?

Barrera did not win that fight based on his geography, or his output.

He countered beautifully, but how many times did he press Marquez?..

Did the criteria for judging fights suddenly become "best counterpunching?"

Barrera is fantastic at flailing accurate return fire, but he did not take the fight to Marquez.

Marquez took the fight to Barrera.

    No?

Under Mexican rules Marquez won, punto.

Under Vegas rules Marquez won, period.

I had it 115-112 for Marquez, that 118-109 score was way off target.

      Round1: 10-9 JMM
      Round2: 10-9 MAB
      Round3: 10-9 MAB
      Round4: 10-9 JMM
      Round5: 10-9 MAB
      Round6: 10-9 MAB
      Round7: 10-8 JMM
      Round8: 10-9 JMM
      Round9: 10-9 JMM
      Round10: 10-9 JMM
      Round11: 10-9 JMM
      Round12: 10-9 MAB

Barrera should retire, cant wait for Marquez-Pacquiao II

I had Barrera winning by a point. Should have been by more if not for the ******ed ref. I wish Judah would have finished that cok suka off.

the scores didnt reflect how much the fight was close. it was a win by marquez but it shouldnt have been that distant.

the biggest scoring blunder was the de leon - penalosa fight, 119-109 and 120 -108. There are at least 4 rounds which Gerry clearly won, he may have not done done enough to take the belt from ponce but not having to see any rounds for gerry is ridiculous. de leon's performance was even lackluster and against a powerful and younger fighter he would have been put to sleep tonight.

              Barrera lost that fight.

Anybody who wasn't expecting a close see-saw battle is out of it.

              I watched that **** like a hawk.

              Marquez won, watch it again.

The scores were outrageous, but Marquez won with room.

**** the KD. **** it, he won ANYWAY.

              Damn...

yes, JMM won...****it...bring on the rematch
Close fight though, I wouldn't have argued with either man winning or a draw. MAB was sharp in the opening rounds, but clearly took some rounds off midway. Didn't work for him though as the second wind never came for him.

The scores were terrible. the fight could have gone either way by a most 1 or 2 points.

After watching the fight again.... i thought a draw would have been fair but Marquez getting the nod seems like the right result but not by the scores those judges were pulling out of their asses.

There was two rounds between them at the most. I just pray that we get a re-match but i doubt it.
