I wonder why I never heard about this until now? I need to come here more often
achilles, knee...whatever
but yeah Green's people ran to the media and talked about Green was kicking Toney's ass all over the ring and what not. Then the video of the session was put up on the net.
I'm sorry for pointing out your gigantomanical ******ity repetedly..
aaaarrgh!!
this sparring was a part of toneys preparation for his latest boxing mach..!
now you must take the ****** clown card of "he was injured" and save it for next time toney the pcp fairy makes a mock of himself and his part of the industry, in front of the whole sivilised world..

just wait and enjoy..
one would think that someone that throws around the label "******" would work on their reading comprehension skills, not to mention their spelling.
I thought it was clearly stated that I had not heard about this, therefore it would logically follow that I would not have a time frame for it. Simple, see?
As fo my opinion of Toney, I absolutely love to see him fight, but I don't think he will ever be a legitimate heavyweight champion. If by some fluke he does manage to get a belt, he won't hold onto it for very long.
He is a good thing for the heavyweight division, though. Regadless of whether or not he wins a belt, he does add some excitement.
On the downside, he has seemed somewhat more beligerant following his last few fights. Was it the Jirov fight where he threw down the mic and was rude to Larry Merchant?
I don't think it really helps him in the long run to act this way, like he's on a roid rage.
It was after the Holyfield fight. Toney smacked the mic out of Jim Gray's hand. I excuse James for this one since it was Jim Gray, the biggest prick in sports media.
I'm tiring of Toney's crap. It's funny in small doses, but he won't shut his trap.
I only watched one round, it looked like the last round from the way they were fighting, and Toney looked way too exhausted to be toying with anyone. To his credit, he slipped some of Green's punches, and landed some of his own, but I'm not impressed at all. It seemed like he couldn't do anything with Green, and knew that with the headgear on, there was no way in hell Green was going to hurt him, so he tried to make green look bad by talking ****. If Toney was trying to make a mockery of Green, shouldn't he do it with his fists? He is still a boxer, right? He should have been able to beat that guy to the canvas even with the gear on, the guy was right in front of him for chrissakes!

yo! that head gear don't stop you from getting hurt.
i'll stop you from getting cut.
thats about it.
most of the time head gear never fits right and slides around on your head, blocks your vision and if your new to the sport gives you a false sence of confidence(i've got headgear on so this shot won't hurt *uhhu* yes it does.).
Keep in mind i dont like toney like a lot of people here do.
I saw the video because i had heard like panzer is saying that Danny Green had kicked his ass but that wasnt even close to the case. Danny Green is on tough SOB thats for sure. Danny starts good moving and throwing, but then he decideds to lean on toney, had it been an official fight, Green would have been out-pointing Toney up till nearly the end. But you can see Toney seeing that Green is getting tired and he is letting him lean on him etc and pushes him back. Green starts breathing heavier and heavier every round, and bigger punches start raining in. Green's face goes from pink to red. Anyway Green is out landing Toney it seems but Toney is picking his spots and letting Green get tired, in the last round Green looks ready to go and almost does by vicious shots from toney. Had Roach not called Toney off green im sure Round 8 woulda been the end for Green.
