Pick Roy Jones Jr's Next Opponent!!

Ok. We know everyone wants him to fight someone with a somewhat decent name and who could pose a threat to Roy. Who, at either 168 or 175, is a tough opponent who would give Roy a fight and is not that big of a name??

I heard talks of a fight with Omar Sheika. That's a solid fight. Both are past their primes.

Yeah Omar Sheika would have been good. He is somebody who would have stood in there and given Roy a fight. He probably would lose by a wide margin, but there would be some exciting moments. Too bad HBO and Showtime turned down this fight. Why? there have been worse fights on especially HBO.

At Roy's age, he might get caught with one of Lacy's bombs. If Roy was only a few years younger, it's goodnight Jeff ala Calzaghe style.

have him fight the recycled joppy or tito mendoza or sheika. thing is what would fighting anyone other than a top guy do for jones?nothing, and is jones still on that level? i don't think he is personally but against guys like that he might look like he is. it's tough to say but i think jones doesn't have it anymore, like i said it might look like that against a C level fighter but if he were to get in the ring with a young and hungry top contender, jones would be made to look very much past his prime.

he had a great and spectacular career but i think that it's time for him to look into other ventures and retire from fighting before he gets starched again, because if he does get ko'd by another fighter no matter who it is his legacy is going to be really tattered................
