Most consistently fit - Rocky Marciano
Most consistent - Butterbean. Seriously, he's been in the exactly the same shape in every fight. Round is a shape.

Holyfield, its unusual for a heavyweight to maintain a similar weight throughout his career!

I think it has to be Rocky Marciano

He was always in great shape and kept himself that way. Good point on Holy though, it's a matter of opinion I suppose.

Holy was always in great shape but he didn't fight 15 rounders either.

I thought of Holyfield too. In terms of physical shape he maybe gets the nod, but Rock was also always in decent mental shape.

**** he was a tough bastard.

Moore hit him with some nasty shots and he walked right through them. I'll remember how brutal that fight was, and you'd probably need a sledge hammer just to hurt Rock in his prime. Anyone.

Yeah I just looked at boxrec.

I really wasn't aware the Archie Moore affair was Marciano's last fight. I wondered at what point in time they fought, but anyways that was at the moonlight of his career and he was in tremendous shape physically.

That's a damn good fight to leave off on also.

He came to fight in every fight, and he came equipped physically to do it as well. What a serious Don.
