I know what many of you are thinking and that Roys washed up blah blah blah

You same people will be nuthugging him if he fights Jermaine "I dont like fighting" Taylor. This fight I promise will be a mis match with Roy kayoing his ass.

Y`all must have forgot the left hook that James Toney got a sucka move I stole from a game ****.

    Settle down, Sheriff.

Roy was knocked out cold by Tarver, and laid on the canvas for over 5 minutes against Johnson while the paramedics were rushed into the ring. The comeback stopped when he looked out of sync against Adjamu.

No, No it's not going to be a big year for Roy. Oh and you can't call me a "hater" because outside of SLW I'm probably the biggest Roy fan on this site.

      Roy had a great career.

It's not going to be a great year for Brett Favre either.

It will be a great year if.. he wins the lottery... His great years on boxing are a thing of the past.. that is why he is fighting Sheika and not someone in the top 30..

If he keeps his mind on the game I think he will return well but I reckon he got caught up in all the fame that he thought everything was going too be script written for him. I wish him all the best I hope he can return and be the fighter we want him too be, he's getting on in age in his last 4 fights he's won 1, he's been knocked out in 2 of them lost a UD won a decision too a journey man, which he should have knocked out, everyone here could say hes reflexes arnt the same they used too be.

He aint the fighter he was thats for damn sure! But i havent written him off JUST yet! I think he would UD'd Hopkins if that fight happened! There alot of top fighters he can still beat but no i dont think it will be a good year for him - It seems lately all he duz is TALK about fighting! Too many fight negotiations breakinbg down and **** all the while Roy is just getting older and rustier! I Hope he can end his career in style with a few big wins tho - he's the best of his era IMO im a huge fan!

Roy Jones will probably not have a big year. He COULD be Taylor, but at what weight. If Roy fights at 168, he is giving a big advantage to Taylor. And based on what do you think him and Taylor will fight?

Also, since when is Roy lined up to fight Sheika?

if you look back at RJJ fight record, his two KO losses were against the best fighters on his resume.

Wasn`t it a case that he tried to step up to the plate but got found out?

At least thats my opinion, he took on two genuine fighters and got his ass handed to him both times.

Yes RJJ beat Hopkins, but one fight doesn`t make you great.

                    .
                    lol no.

James Toney and Bernard Hopkins are better than Glen Johnson and Antonio "The Magic Man" Tarver. Any way you slice it.
