    Brian Minto, The live underdog

obviously entering this weekend all or most boxing discussion will center on two excellent matchups, JMM and MAB and the renatch of Bell/Mormeck

being overshadowed is an intriguing croassroads fight taking place overseas in the sausage filled country of germany...

up and coming heavyweight Brian Minto appears to be the first of the prospects to decide its time to put up or shut up... minto is facing former world title challenger Luan Krasniqi, in germany no less, in a fight that looks on paper like an easy UD for the tough, durable luan the lion of "i was beatin lamon brewster till i got the living **** knocked out of me" fame

on paper luan is the wienshnitzel and minto is the spatzel

but not so fast my friends....

this guy is predicting a good old fashioned upset, minto comes into today as +300 at my bookie and i say he is worth a decent wager... why do you ask?

    CASE FOR MINTO:
    1. took fight against axel schulz in germany, knocked him out, so the location will not intimidate him....
    2. has shown that he himself is durable and can carry power into the later rounds... reference final round left hook bomb KO of maddalone
    3. has fought more recently and against better comp than luan.
    4. if he takes this fight he must know something about himself that we dont
    5. Cause i like the guy.... taking back to back fights again shulkz and krasniqi both in germany just shows that this guy has the sack to go out a limb and earn his pay

    CASE AGAINST LUAN:
    1. Hasnt fought in a year
    2. coming off a knee injury, mobility will certainly be limited, which is worst case scenarion aganst a ****er like minto
    3. hasnt fought a legit opponent since being knocked out.....
    4. has avoided tony thompson and chosen minto instead.. why??

Minto by TKO9! you heard it here first

If Luan shows up in any kind of good shape, I see him winning big.
He is taller, has a good jab ....

Luan avoided Thompson because he is a much tougher fight than Minto

that may very well happen, but im saying luan isnt the same guy who was beating brewster................

these are two guys moving in different direction w. their careers.. minto, UP luan, DOWN... im taking the guy on his way up with the desire to take the tough fights

I like the scrappy little Minto guy. He's shown heart.

i would think twice before betting on any kind of bout in germany. especially if its teh guys hometown youre betting against.

look at miranda. whupped that ass for 12 straight rounds and they still punked him. theyll rob your ass over there.

Youre right, Luan isn't that good anymore, the Bostice fight showed that and he had a long layoff since that. But I think he is still better than Minto.

thats why he is 3-1 favorite

you bet 100 on minto to win 300 plus your hundred back..

makes a batter bet than 300 on luan to win 100
