'Gallito' wants in Arce, Mijares mix!

“Arce, Darchinyan or Mijares, I’ll fight any of them,” said former WBA Superflyweight champion Martin “Gallito” Castillo. Castillo, (30-2, 16 KO’s) has been healing from surgery on his eyebrows yet still he trains with more motivation than ever. “I feel like I have something to prove. My loss to Nashiro was a fluke. That could never happen again,” said Castillo of his last fight where he lost in the tenth round due to terrible cuts suffered in the battle against Nobuo Nashiro. The surgery, which included shaving the brow down, is aimed at making him less prone to cuts.

Martin Castillo is the guy i think would work Darchinyan the best unless he moved all the way up to Super Bantam where Marquez, De Leon and Vazquez would whip his ass. Castillo has way too much skill for Vic. AlsoI think he would make a good fight with Arce but I see him UD'ing him as well. This guy really does need to get into that mix before it's too late.

We are just waiting on Top Rank to give us a date. So Castillo can get in "fighting" shape. But he's been in the gym since Janurary.

castillo is the real deal along w/ vic and arce - i still remember that pummeling he gave morel couple years back - he schooled a phenomenal boxer in morel then.

castillo has a win over mayweather in the AM's also, just a friendly, neighborhood fyi.

Ya, but Castillo needs to get the ring rust off of him. He needs a tune up and hopepfully Top Rank will deliver. Then Castillo can focus on Vic, Arce or Mijares.

But Castillo can give any of thos guys problems.

I'd love to see Castillo vs. Arce.Boxer vs. slugger.I think it would be an exciting fight just as the Castillo-Munoz rematch was.I would go with Castillo winning a decision in an exciting fight.
