You guys are sucking on that **** after watching a highlight reel of one fight? Please!

I could make a highlight reel of the Miranda-Green fight where I can make Green look AMAZING but it doesn't mean he even won the fight (I know Gerry won by TKO). Judge the guy by his opposition and the whole fight. Martinez was/is an average fighter, at best (and a little past his prime).

We'll see how he fares against PDL but I think he's going to get his skull punded.

        good post, makes perfect sense.

As far as Penalosa, Ive only seen him fight once (his last fight). When he is punching and thowing combos he looked great, but he didnt throw a lot. He was very hesitant to let his shots off, but when he did open up he looked good. But if hes moving up in weight against a guy with a good chin he will need to open up a lot more to try to win some rounds.

I forget if they said Martinez was actually thought to beat Penalosa before their fight. Supposely Martinez was in his prime and Gerry is not. I dunno, I'll rewatch it when I get home. It should make for a great fight cause Ponce is no where near as complete as Gerry and Gerry can easily embarass him if he avoids his big bombs. Penalosa also said he LOVES to face southpaws. They are his easiest opponents and he makes it look easy. This couldn't have been believed more than when he faced Martinez. Ponce could be in for a long night or short work. We'll see how it plays out. I cannot wait for this fight just as much as the main event!
