is manny pacquiao acting shady ??????

not to hate on manny pacquiao is considered as 1 of the best in the sport,
he is like a god in his home country, he is getting into politics, he is becoming more like an idol not just in his country but here in the U.S.A.
the way i looked at manny pacquiao in the early days, a humble philipino trying to get to the top, well now he is on the top but IMO he is acting a lil shady not with his peepz but his personality is.......the way he trains is not the same, has promotional/rights problems, money wise he is demanding more and more (he has his rights he is one of the best) but i liked the old pacquiao, well i hope he does go over board........

I think he could have taken his eye off the ball a little, which is always a dangerous thing for a fighter to do. It happened with Nas, but Pac is a better fighter so hopefully he'll keep destroying people.

Nothing wrong with demanding more money. Boxers get ripped off all the time and many end up in financial trouble.

Pacquiao doesn't always seem like the most business savvy guy with the decisions he makes, so might as well get as much money as he can.

His boxing style isn't the best when suited for longevity, and he's already fought at a high level for a long time.

Manny grew up poor and now he is just trying to set up his family for life. His training is probably not the same because of his new pursuits (politics). Which I hope he doesn't get too involved with because it seems certain people are using him for their own political agendas. I hope he succeeds in whatever he does because he is my favorite fighter, but I hope it doesn't destroy his boxing career. Whenever he fights its a great event

i just want him to be at his best when or if he faces, barrera, marquez or even guzman....that way if he loses there won't be any excuses and instead raise questions rather than answers; and cause an early retirement

Thats a good point niceguy. If he were to lose I hope it would be because the fighter he faced that night was just better not because of outside distractions. Another guy I would absolutley love to see him fight would be Edwin Valero.

It is five weeks before the fight with Solis and he isn;t even in LA yet to begin his training for the fight. He is either very confident of his abilities or is really distracted.

I hope that it is the former.

First he signs with GBP with Oscar waving twenty dollar bills, then Arum shows up with a bigger boat and Manny renegs on the golden boy to sign with top rank. Yes, to answer the question, Pac is acting shady. I have no objections with Manny getting his due financially, but from my vantage point, he seems to be lacking in moral fortitude or at the very least, ethics.

I don't even want to go into his political foray...
