"From Pillar to Post" - Edison Miranda's Moment of Truth

For the first seven rounds, the middleweight bout between Edison Miranda and Allan Green was an uneven, uneventful, and unfulfilling contest. Then the unprecedented happened. Moving forward in a rare sign of aggression, Green stepped in with a right hand and followed the cross with a well-timed left hook that sent Miranda to the floor for the first time in his professional career. Another job well done!

"I like to give the boxing fan their money's worth," Miranda, now 28-1 (24 KO), says. "There are too many boring fighters out there who dance around and win on decisions. "

Miranda is an exciting guy that will never just cruise to a victory.

Taylor will dance around and give Edison a boxing lesson for 12 rounds.

Is this the same lesson he gave Ouma and Wright?

Miranda did the job he was supposed to do against a man who clearly had superior boxing skills. However, Green was clearly fighting at the wrong weight. He showed no ambition and that can be attributed to excessive weight loss through dehydration. A man with his build and height (6'2") should not be trying to pretend that he is a middleweight. To redeem himself Green might try offering Miranda a rematch at 175. If Miranda has any sense whatsoever he will refuse!

LOL!!! Yeah he looks just like Rocket. Nice article Asian once again. I like Miranda's attitude; he's taking all the tough fights & aims to please the crowd. I hope he learns English so he can become a cross over star. He has the charisma to become one.
