I've heard plenty of different opinions on the fight, many think Kotelnik won whilst others think he lost. It was a matter of which style the judges preferred. None of that "****ing Euros" bollocks or I'll have to reconsider my opinions of you as a member of this site and maybe advise the rest of Team Classic to do the same.

I had Kotelnik winning by 2 rounds. It was a close fight and the rounds were hard to score, but Kotelnik showed good defence,he pressed the fight by coming forward from start to finish and his stamina was top notch.
It was a good technical fight and would make for a rematch.

He's European himself, I'm sure he said it in good faith.

You know, I got nothing against europeans, just a little pun I had to throw in, to keep the 'all fights are fixed in Europe' belief.

Thank God for that. We thought you'd gone over to the dark side.

LOl, no, its just a friend of mine is really good friend with Kotelnik(bear in mind we are all from Ukraine) and the way he told me the story, since I did not see the fight at that point, looked like it was another Lewis/Holyfield 1.
He was really in despair and so I was a bit as well.

It seems to be more of a Wright vs Taylor situation. Depends on whose style you prefer.

Kotelnik can still come good though, he just needs to learn to fight for three minutes every round. He coasts through rounds sometimes and that's why he lost to Witter.
