Toney would get beaten to the point where his eyes would swell up and the fight would be stopped.. I think it would be horrible, and I've always said that.

I don't think anything is different now, as opposed to how it once was. JT is still an echelon HW, and has shown he can compete at HW despite moving all the way up from SMW. We're still talking about the old school, blown up, 5'9 box fighter (arguably the greatest beard of any fighter.....ever) against a mobile 6'6 250 pound boxer puncher that uses his size as good as anyone in boxing. Wlad would be cautious, and break Toney down late, but it would be disgraceful. Toney could try and counter, despite the 9 inch height difference, and miss horrible getting tagged with the jab.

No, I like James Toney too much... He has nothing to prove and doesn't need to risk major injuries, hell with Wlad's power and James iron chin, James could very die in the ring, and being that he has a wife and 3-4 kids, i don't think anyone wants to see that. I doubt Toney would accept it, he knows that he would be outmatched, he's confident of course, but he isn't an idiot.

Yeah, it's a recipe where you can say one guy will get beaten untill the fight is stopped. Look, it's no secret that Toney can land a bomb here or there, he showed that against Peter.....some of the shots he hit him with wobbled Sam, and previously Wlad was the only person to do that. He loaded up on some serious right hands, and if one of those CONNECTED on Wlad's chin, there might be some type of effect. I mean I could visually see Peter's head snap back from Toney's counter, and Peter fumbled around for a bit.

But, I don't think he can land it flush, because Wlad is always on his toes....and that helps absorb some of the punch impact.

I have this sadistic side of me that wants to see Toney talk all kinds of **** during the press conferences and then, come the day of the fight, get knocked out cold for the first time in his life.

What would he be able to say after getting knocked out?! We've seen how he reacts to losing badly on the scorecards, but how about a completely mortifying knockout loss?

Might have been a good fight 5 years ago, but Toney has gone down hill since then.

As I've said all along about Toney, ever since he opened his mouth from day one in the HW division, he would never step foot in the ring with a Klitschko. He's had his chances and turned them down several times. Toney will take on tough fights, he's game, but he wanted nothing to do with either of the Bros. Simple.
