There was a bit of a kick-off in Boxing News this week about a Gerald McClellan benefit dinner that happened in London. People said they shouldn't have done the thing due to Gerald abusing dogs for a living outside boxing, and some suggested Gerald got what he deserved against Benn...I'd just like your opinions on Gerald being a good boxer who enjoyed watching ****ing vicious pit bull terriers kill weak meek other dogs, and whether or not Benn did us all a good favour...

Doesn't Roy Jones do **** fighting? I think that kind of thing is not uncommon in the 3rd world.

The stories I've read about McClellan I'd count against him but to say he deserves to be crippled is outrageous.

Fair enough, then lets stick him in a room with a few mentally deranged folk with a baseball bat or ten and watch him get pummelled...because that's basically what he enjoyed watching dogs do.

Yeah right, and you're the type of person that believes anything the media says, or stories etc before seeing absolute proof with your own eyes. You haven't seen much in life, telling a person deserves to be crippled. Also cowardly because i'd love to see you say that to a Gman of the early 90s. You'd be crapping your pants thoroughly. Dude was one of the most indimidating, confident fighters i've ever seen.

BTW, Do you think Benn himself wanted it to happen to McClellan? Good job Benn LOL, idiots who say that have no idea how much it has effected Nigel Benn's life.

From those stories McClellan seemed like a sadist.
But in his state he is incapable of any kind of redemption. If Benn and anyone else chooses to help not just McClellan but his family who care for him 24/7, then thats their prerogative.
