I have never seen any fights of this boxer before and i have no idea what he can do! Is he a dirty fighter like sanchez whom pacman settled for just a draw? I know he's as tall as sanchez and maybe as quick as he but i am wondering what do this fighter offers really? I believe this fight will benefit him rather than pacquiao because if he wins, this will be a step in a ladder for him because big fights will come to him after! There are talks that after the fight, pacquiao will face juan manuel marquez but if pacquiao loses to st clair, then st clair becomes the one facing marquez!
What if Pacquiao loses to this St. Clair?

st clair is a decent boxer and does pose a serious threat to pac man, i cant see pac loosing however, he is to good and to fast/powerfull for st clair
if he looses to him though it could damage pacs chances... only in the short term
obviously thats the most important thing though, cause we all want to see morales pac man before morales steps up
PAC MAN KO RND 5 -
I hear a chorus of "NO WAY!!!" and "GOD FORBID!!!" Anyhow, in the remote...very remote chance that St. Clair slips past Pac, it will indeed be a sad X'mas for the people out there in RP.
I just checked the currency exchanges and it says the Peso slipped again in trading earlier today, RP time!
RP can use some good news...! It hasn't been given much to rejoice about in recent years! The folks there deserve much, much better than what they've been getting!!! Such wonderful, charming people!!! Such a wonderful place!!!

If he loses, St. Clair gets another big fight and Pacquaio maybe drops a spot or two in the rankings, but no big deal.
Shane Mosley, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricardo Mayorga, and Marco Antonio Barrera are recent examples that big names can survive losses and continue on to megafights. People will want to see Pac/Marquez 2 and Pac/Morales whether he beats St. Clair or not.Comment

Yes, i agree with you more, PHILIPPINES need something to cheer about this Christmas! After all that's been happening,is there a more logical reason to celebrate, with all these rises in commodities because of the peso devaluation -- crude oil, fare hike, everything is rising! My hope is just like yours, Pacquiao should win, and not just win, he should make a statement, he should knock this fighter out and prove to the world that he can knock out everybody! Even if his record shows he got a very good chin, with pacman's power, that is not impossible! Peace to you!Originally posted by grayfistI hear a chorus of "NO WAY!!!" and "GOD FORBID!!!" Pacman SHOULD win this one eventhough its supposed to be a tune-up. IMO Pacman will destroy St. Claire in Rd 1 .Comment
