Butterbean Sr Won and Butterbean Jr Knocked Out!!!

    Butterbean destroys Siciliano!

    Friday, March 9 2007

By Peter Mark Heintzelman at ringside

417 pound heavyweight Eric "Butterbean" Esch (77-7-4, 58 KOs) demolished local hero Joe Siciliano (4-4) on Friday night at the Palladium in Worcester, Mass. Esch floored the 49-year-old, 313 pound Siciliano in round one and three times in round two before Siciliano's corner threw in the the towel after 1:10 of round two. Butterbean was in command the whole match.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------
Earlier, Esch's 21-year-old, 289 pound son Brandon "Babybean" Esch was knocked out cold at 2:00 of round one in his pro debut by Matt Eckerle, as the concerned senior 'Bean looked on. Babybean was down for about ten minutes as paramedics administered oxygen, but happily he walked out of the ring under his own power.

I almost feel inclined to say "That's what you get."

A 6 Foot Fighter should not come in at 289 pounds.

Someone on the forum said that Butterbean Jr has potential. When you get knocked out this early in your career by a nobody, your potential goes out the window.

Not always true. I believe Alexis Arguello was knocked out cold in his first pro fight, in the first round.

Also, Hopkins lost his first pro fight, though not be KO.

Bean Jr. should quit while he has a brain. If you get knocked out cold in your first pro fight, that should be your indicator. If you hurry you can get your day job back.

maybe he didn't train that hard, or he's not good in defense.
