You seems to have the wrong notion on this issue. It's not Wlad who's insisting they use the same gloves. It's the German Boxing Body's rule. It further says that if the fighters can't agree on what brand of gloves is to be used, then the title holder has the prerogative to chose. It's not really that complicated.

Don't jump on Wlad's back and burn his ass because Ray Austin is in the raw end of the deal.

I don't get why this is an issue now; Wlad's last two opponents wore a different brand of gloves without controversy. But it would be funny if this fight were called off because of this.
