Holyfield wasn't rock hard like he is today until two or three years into heavyweight. He has some what soft muscle at the time of the Dougles fight . It wasn't like one day he was a big crusier and the next boom he looks like a bodybuilder it was a quick change but not that damn quick .
27lb gain in 1 yr for a new lifter is good, but is attainable by most who are willing to dedicate themselves to a good w/o and diet program.

27lb MUSCLE gain in year is a big deal and probably means an overall gain (fat, muscle, water, etc) of close to if not over 40lbs. im sure its possible for new lifters to achieve this, it just takes serious hard work and a certain amount of good fortune to discover an effective w/o and diet prog. right out of the gate. finding all 3 of these (and applying them) when just begining lifting is rare indeed

There's a couple of reasons I don't like Evander Holyfield's name linked to these allegations on his own. Firstly, even if he did take them, there's many many others who did and have too. And secondly, no amount of drugs replace a heart like Holyfield's.

Holyfield seemed to get quite a bit bigger sometime around the early to mid 90's, I'm not sure of the exact dates, but Evander Holyfield was and remains one of the most dedicated athletes on the planet; a true workaholic. Considering he is a workaholic, I don't think it's unreasonable to give him the benefit of the doubt. The bottom line is he's a legend and warrior. Drugs haven't made him what he was/is.

Any man can make an accusation. Any man with zero proof. And they alone mean nothing. And until I hear alot more proof on this subject, thats all it is. Baseless accusations.
But consider this, Holyfield has been tested before and after his fights and has never tested positive. Most roids stay in the system for months after you stop. Reason leads you to believe he would have been caught.

agree with you there but the bigger problem is that there many guy using it in nearly all pro sport another thing is to solve the problem and see where the source is coming from the investagtion usualy dies aaway after a week or so and we dont know where holyfield got his steroid from which doc and which other boxer invovle.

the weirdest thing ins pro sport is that they have enough money to cover up and buy steroid and other stufff but not enough money to make a regular random check?

i wonder how this check up is made because usally it someone say i think partly is some conpiracy sometimes if some organisation does like a fighter it will go all the way to destroy him and his reputation
