I believe there was a rumor that the Vargas-Mayorga fight was going to be on SHOWTIME. NO official word yet. SHould be soon, since the fight is less than 2 months away.

Sidenote: Mayorga may be in jail by the time May 5th comes around. I'm sure either HBO or SHOWTIME is waiting to see what's going to happen with his situation in Nicaragua.

Nothing is official, but Vargas' camp said they will not be on Showtime on May 5, actually Showtime will have an EliteXC show that day. Also, they will NOT be on any De La Hoya-Mayweather undercard.

DON'T WORRY IT'S ON FOR MAY 5th. It's in the MGM car park after FLOYD & OSCAR.

NO TV coverage I'm afraid. Just show your ticket stub and bring a six pack of Bud for the winner.

You know your cool with me Bonafide, but having a top Don King and top Main events fighter on the undercard of ANY show let alone on Oscar's PPV would never, ever, ever happen.

The PBF/Oscar fight sells by itself. Even the casual fan buys this PPV. Their is no reason for Nando/Mayo to be on the undercard even if Oscar approved because (for as shot as both fighters are) the fight can still sell decent. (even though it should be on Boxing after Dark)

yah were cool. I'm just messing around anyways. I agree El Feroz vs El Matador should be on boxing after dark though..

It's just all the drama behind it thats all seeing as Oscar had personal fueds with both Nando and Mayo...although the one with Nando was much more real and personal and lasted for years.

But I agree with you 100%
