dont know how good the movie is, but Ill probebly be checkin it out. After the movie theres a short 'marathon' of fights too, including Marciano vs. Ezzard Charles I.

Im excited about the Whitaker Ringside, usually they just do the same old Foreman, Ali, Holyfield and Tyson ones...Pernell is a p4p elite, and I dont know much about his life, so Ill be very interested. plus no doubt theyll show some pretty good footage I probebly havent seen before, and in great quality too.

Just thought yall might want a heads up, sounds like some good **** to me.

If you get a chance to watch the Chavez-Whitaker fight Id recommend it. Although the decision at the end will make you want to vomit. Easily one of the top ten robberies in pro boxing.

yea,,,espn classic rocks. I loved the ringside with foreman where they went through his entire career starting with his gold medal fight and ending with the moorer win. they dont leave anything out. hopefully it will be as in depth with sweet pea and the rock as it was with foreman

I for one didn't appreciate Swea Pea during his time, but I recently saw him and Mcgirt on classic, and I didn't fall asleep this time around. His talent and technique is truly amazing. Too bad he didn't have KO power...
