This fight (assuming Wlad dominates like most of us expect), won't change people's perception of Wlad one way or the other.

Wlad would gain zilch and if there is an upset ( which i highly doubt) Austin stands to gain the liberty statue. This is the problem i have with boxers fighting below par, sooner than later it is going to catch up with u

well,,,,in this case it isnt wlads fault. austin is the mandatory and wlad would be stripped for not fighting him. boxing politics suck

Not much really. Despite the hypes and Press releases the truth is, Green has not accomplished anything yet for him to be regarded as a serious threat to Wlad aside from being another 6"6" guy. His best accomplishment is a draw against Sultan.

I'm not pulling down Austin or saying he doesn't have a chance, I'm simply saying he doesn't have a big reputation yet.

The IBF has been ****ing with WLad for awhile now.... first it was giving TOS the mandatory spot ahead of wlad despite wlad beating him.... now serving up a hopeless challenger just to satisfy don king..... brock should have been the mandatory and wlad should be unifying right now...

its also not wlads fault that briggs backed out of his fight this saturday just to avoid the obvious unification challenge that wlad would offer the winner afterwards

the only reason why Wlad is fighting Austin is cause the IBF made Austin the mandatory after he drew with Ibragimov

well you got the title defense number and how much longer he stay with his winning streak.

some part of people legacy is a winning streak you may not look it now but later people will say he defened his title more than 10 and had a winning streak of 20 fight blah blah...etc

it not easy staying with a title for long time you need to train harder and each fight the pressure goes higher for fighters with title

It's hard to believe this fight will change anyone's mind.

If he gets a first round TKO, those who always criticize him will call Austin a bum and move on.

If he struggles and or even gets floored, his apologists will say Austin is underrated and Klitschko overlooked him. And, of course, the detractors will have a field day.

I expect the first scenario to be much closer to reality.

                      Klitschko TKO3 Austin.
