    Reasons why you hate a fighter . . . .

What are the reasons why you hate a particular fighter. Is it because of nationality? Physical attributes ? Personality? Poor fighting skills ? Or because the guy is a treat to your favorite fighter?

For me I like the sports for the excitement that the action brings inside the ring. I don’t really hate any particular fighter, it’s just that I dislike fighters who BITES more than they could chew, insults other fighters just to create a stir and get attention. Zab and Mayorga would be my best example. They are good, they bring excitement inside that ring, but their dirty mouths is sharper than their skills.

    How about you guys?

    Simple:

    Attitude.

I'd take Glen Johnson saying "I'm not the best, I'm just the guy willing to fight the best" over anything ever said by Roy Jones.

Also, just the way the fighter conducts himself in general. I understand Zab Judah may have been crushed by Jay Nady's call in the Tszyu fight, but that is no excuse to act like a classless prick. That's why I admired Evander Holyfield and even Roy Jones--when they got their Olympic screwings, they took it like complete gentlemen. Although Roy used it as an excuse to tiptoe through the Tulips for his entire career.

THERE ARE A FEW THINGS WHICH CAN MAKE ME DISLIKE A FIGHTER, GIVING UP STRAIGHT AFTER A LOSS AND PLUNGING INTO RETIREMENT IS ONE OF THEM. THE MAIN ONE IS ARROGANCE, I CAN NOT STAND ROY JONES (OUT OF THE RING) BECAUSE OF HIS ATTITUDE, HE STILL ACTUALLY THINKS HE IS THE BEST, AND STILL BELIEVES HE CAN CONVINCE PEOPLE THAT THE REASON HE LOST HIS LAST TWO FIGHTS IS BECAUSE PEOPLE WERE 'MAKING HIM' FIGHT AT A WEIGHT HE WASNT COMFORTABLE

I HOPE HE 'DOES' GO UP TO HEAVY WEIGHT, I HOPE HE 'DOES' GET TO FIGHT TUA AND I HOPE HE 'DOES' GET KTFO IN THE FIRST ROUND, IF HE CANT HANDLE A PUNCH OFF TARVE A JOHNSON HOW CAN HE HANDLE ONE OFF TUA

SOMEONE GIVE HIM THE 35m HE WANTS FOR THE FIGHT JUST SO HE WILL HAVE TO ACCEPT HE IS NO LONGER THE BEST

Boring fighters bother me the most.

Especially a dud like PAUL SPADAFORA. He was unbelievably boring, & all of his fights were exercises in monotony.
Yet, he had tons of televised fights. Fake-ass "purists" would defend him, saying those who disliked him didn't appreciate his "artistry".
The guy had OVERRATED boxing skills. He was not as slick as he was made out to be. He looked slick against the mediocrities he faced, but resembled a journeyman himself when facing a good fighter.

Yes, BORING fighters....they're the worst !

i cant quantify it, I ether like em or I dont, for example cant stand Alex arthur but like Mike Gomez, both arrogant little pricks.

Loved lewis couldnt stand Jones, both more boxers than sluggers so not the style.

Loved Nige benn hated chris Eubank though of late that has lessened.

Hated Naseem Hamed far too brash, but like James Toney.

im just mixed up I guess.

Yeah TALKING OF Hamed, We can't deny that the guy has skills, he has alot of accomplishments to be reckoned with, but he's simply too arrogant for me to like and respect him. Though he is somewhat original in his MYDIA HYPES and PRESENTATIONS it is turning the sports into somekind of CARNIVAL. And he showed the inconsistency to prove what he was supposed to be claiming a "great one" . . . after he got humilated by MAB he just quit. He should have pursued that career ask for the rematch instead of hiding into seclusion. He did made another fight against a nobody after that defeat . . . but CLEARLY he already lost his luster in the eyes of the boxing public. POOR GUY.

Are you serious? You hate or dislike a fighter because of the color of his skin? Oh common . . . that must be a joke.

i like if a fighter is arrogant. it adds to the fight. i dont like when fighters complament eachother. where is the fun in that? boxing needs arrogant trash talkers like jones, tarver, toney and the G.O.A.T at trash talking ALI!!!
