I think he would go very far as long as he improves his defense. I don't know if he has very good D right now. In the 2 fights I saw he didn't really need it.

Andre Berto- How good can he be?
The guy is a very good prospect at this point with 17-0 (15-0) slate. But how good can he be? We can only guess . . . wait till he fights some real competition and we will find out. It's easy to look good against 3rd class fighters friend so it's no big deal at this point.

Norberto Bravo has 12 loses; Miguel Figueroa has 4 loses; James crayton has 22 loses; Robertop Valenzuela has 24 loses and Sparkman ahs 14 loses. And these are his 5 last fights . . . He has only fought 2 ten rounders so far, see my point?

        .

Hes a very very solid prospect,u dnt come around prospects like him very often,he has 1 of the fastest jabs already, and the right hand is very dangerous,i think hes a future champ,i love watching Berto in action, the commentators on Sky Sports were saying hes a special kid,i also think Anthony Peterson and his brother are future champs

            1) I don't know about his chin yet.

            2) His stamina is an unknown.

Well it's not suprising, he hasn't fought any known good opponent yet.

The kid looks to have the goods, maybe he will be champ one day....or maybe he's the next Joel Julio.

i fear he is another jeff lacy . He is starting to believe his own hype , he will probably regress technicaly and turn into a limited one punch KO artist . and his style being so energetic , i dont think he can put this kind of pressure against a good boxer ala Quintana for 10 or 12 rounds .

that being said , i enjoy watching him fight , he really deserves his tv spots

I think he will be pretty good one day and the champ, but I don't think he could beat Cotto right now. It would be exciting but Cotto has more experience.
