Nobuo Nashiro- Is he the real deal?

In just his 8th fight Nobuo turned champion after deafting the mexician p4p Martin Castillo.

but which just 9 fights boxrec.com ranked him the 2nd super fly after Jorge Arce.

what do you think of him he is fighting his next fight against Alavez one of Castillo old oppenets.

    here his record
    http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=241980

critize all you want but it is very impressive to win you a world title lie the WBA in just 8 fights

This guy must have a massive amateur background. DAMN he fought and TKOed Martin Castillo who is 30-1 in the 10th round of a scheduled 12 rounds fight while he only has 5-0 record?

****, this is really one for the book.

here an article from the ring magazine jp

here is an intersting twist the guy beat three contender in a row to take Martom Castillo and he is just a university student.

they say he got the rocky maricano style and it looks like he got alot of stamina to began with

Yup he is a student alright but I noticed a discrepancy on his record, why does the Japanese article says he has a 7-0 -(4 K.O.) records while Boxrec says that was suppose to be just his 6th fight.

no in boxrec it says he won his title at 8th.

this article is probablly before the fight with Castillo ans now he finished his 9th and going to his 10th which is Alavez.

man the problem with these prospect you cant really know how good he is but beating the kingpin of the super fly is something good

here is the reply of the stoppage:

I wasn't all that impressed with the stoppage though when he was pushed in the ropes and spun around. That was impressive move for so early.

i didn't like the way th referee jumped in and stopped it so suddenly, but i think it was legitimate, castillo's eye was in a terrible state. I think nashiro can go onto big things if he gets past munoz.

I watched the clip twice but I can't identify which punch did the cut. It could have been from the previous rounds.

Anyway I'll be an instant fan of this guy if he survives Munoz. Munoz has 31 fights, 29 wins, 27 KO's, 2 loses.
