It probably would be quite a headache trying to arrange a fight with Kessler.

this whole thing is too little too late in my opinion. He shouldnt have waited so long.

The US market can't have it both ways though... up until a year ago he was a "Eurot.rash brit f.ag bum" who no one was interested in seeing or talking about seriously. Now we're asking why he hasn't got a title shot in the States before?

He REALLY doesn't like that Kessler option when he's looking at Berrio as an alternative - going after the IBF belt again after having just given it up in order not to fight Stieglitz.
Don't really know how to feel about it. Is it annoying, funny or just plain ridiculous?

He could have gotten rid of this stigma by coming here say, at 27/28/29/30 instead of ****ing 34/35. We care when you fight here. Well Kessler-Berrio wouldn't be as great a fight as i wish for. But Kessler isn't the one who's already basicly given up on a longtime ambition to unify SMW to only persue "big americans" and then maybe end up fighting Berrio for a belt once given up already.

Kessler is at another stage of his career and with a different history in relation to the IBF-title - so no I don't think quite the same "rules" apply for Kessler that IMO do for Calzaghe.

The difference, were not a small island. Were a vast reigon where leaving one state can earn you a ****load of hate. Fighting in Atlantic city, or florida, or LA, or New York, or Vegas is the same as if i fought in Sheffield, The Netherlands, Sweden, Spain. All of those places pose different areas of fandom and support.

The bottom line is, America has better champions fighting here from around the world, far more than in europe, this is a fact. The best fighters come to fight here, Mexicans, Puerto ricans (who are americans anyway), Columbians, Asians etc who are great champions, prove it here along with americans. Thats the difference between our place and yours, thats why this place is the way it is. Thats why we hold the standard we hold.

People dream of a title fight in Vegas, hardly anyone dreams of a title fight in europe.
