    Pacquiao Postpones Departure for Wild Card

    Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao postponed his planned departure for Los Angeles yesterday and says he now hopes to leave on Mach 14 which will be one month before his April 14 showdown with undefeated Mexican Jorge Solis at the Alamadome in San Antonio, Texas. [details]

    I don't like this for Manny at all...so many distractions, so little training...

      Its his own decision, I am not gonna be suprise if Solis beats Pacquiao. Distraction is something you did not intend to do that affects the way you fight. Well, Pac decided in his own mind to train 6 weeks and change the date of his departure to Los Angeles. This is not a distraction/excuses since this is his own doing.

      Solis is 5'10 and is a good puncher and this will give Pac trouble. I am rooting for Pac to win but Manny's OWN decisions this past few months will affect him in this fight. But the most important factor i believe if Pac losses is that Freddie Roach's absence(or lack of) in training Pacquiao. Emmanulle Steward said that his willing to train Pac. Steward wants to train Pac to be more of a techinical boxer but Roach is the only 1 who understand how the way Pac fights, which is straight forward. Roach trains Pac that will not affect Pac's style.
