good thing is, these guys tend to love what they do, and they do it well into their old ages

Despite his homerism that reaches sickening levels at times (see Taylor, Jermain and De La Hoya, Oscar), Lampley is the man I'd want calling any fight I ever watch.

Something about his voice and the aura that says "big time boxing". I think BAD has really suffered without him, not just in terms of actual boxing, but in atmosphere. It feels like Friday Night Fights or Shobox with Fran Charles at the helm. No disrespect...
