Looks like Cotto's body punching did hurt Urkal...

Urkal was also bothered by a biceps injury suffered from repeated blows to his arm in the fourth or fifth round.

"It really bothered him for the rest of the fight," Wegner said.

Cotto's relentless attack probably did also.

"He's very strong, a very big puncher," Urkal said. "He hits hard."

I cant believe he didnt go down after that uppercut. I probably woke up everyone in my house because I jumped up and screamed.

That uppercut was horrible/beautifull! Urkal is toughas nails, that was established long before he fought Cotto! Why the **** all the negativity about this fight? Sure the stoppage was a joke but that aint Cotto and Urkal's fault! Miguel didnt bring his A game but it seems like he is being judged really harshly, he fought well and Urkal (a good fighter) won only 2 rounds IMO, Cotto definatly loses NO credit in my eyes. He did LOOK chunky (not a good sign) but his fitness was there!

It looked like a welterweight (Urkal) was fighting a middle weight.

Cotto looked a little pudgy and slow in the Urkal fight. But, overall it was an OK performance not his best though.

Yeah he was a bit below par but ive heard alot of critasisim, mostly unnessacary. And i thought it was a good fight not the Bore athon everybody said it was! Sure the stoppage ******, But Cotto didnt stop it. He didnt even look happy when it got stopped. Urkal really deserved to go the distance
