    Edison Miranda-Allan Green: A Woman's View

San Juan, Puerto Rico was a long way from the friendly confines of Oklahoma casinos for Tulsa native Allan "Sweetness" Green. Green (23-1) challenged tough Edison "Pantera" Miranda (27-1) in a 162 pound bout that was hardly the "knock down, drag out" battle that all the pre-fight hype promised. [details]

yes, i wondered why people were hanging on green in this matchup.
green may of became flustered from fighting someone a whole step up.
against ravelo green still looked kind of green.

wish miranda would get picked up by GBP and get set up with a good trainer. everythings there but better boxing skills.

            .
i think with willie gibbs and allen green you saw two guys who were intimidated by mirandas power even before the fight started....

pavlik will meet him halfway, should be twice the fight that this one had promised to be

i think green would beat taylor simply cuz taylor is not as devastating a puncher as miranda and every time taylor feels some power he backs against the ropes. doing that against an athletic and powerful 6'2'' opponent = his first loss.

green has already stated that he will not be moving down again, he blamed the loss on trying to get to 162, he says he is super-middle for good.
