He could have KO'd Green within 7 rounds but his trainer was telling him to box, I don't know why, just let the man be himself and KTFO out of his opponents.

Hm yes I think he wanted Miranda have more than 3 minutes on HBO, unlike his last appearance on B.A.D.

Maybe it was also to let the top guys in the middle weight division have a good look at him. They can't see much in a first round KO that would make them want to fight him.

The reason why Edison "Pantera" Miranda is amassing such a following at this early stage in his career is his killer instinct. While Miranda may not be the most technically sound fighter out there, and you'll never see him win any award for traditional boxing. It's his sheer power and killer intinct that drives people to gravitate towards him and his style of fighting.

It's not often you see a fighter literally dash across the ring towards his opponet to knock him out with only 2 seconds left in the fight.

I think Miranda is generating such interest because he is a throwback fighter with no thrills just raw aggression. If he can control his brawling style he will develop into one hell of a formidable champion. He is like a caged panther and once that door is opened anything can happen.

The guy is all excitement. He throws vicious punches with the very worst of intentions. You get the notion that he really wants his punches to go right through the opponent's body.

Miranda is one of the few people keeping me into boxing these days. He actually has some serious killer instinct, he loves to fight. He doesn't care if you hurt him. Compare that to guys like Mayweather and Judah that take a safety first approach when things get rough. Good for them, they win. I'll give my support to the guys who put it on the line. They risk more and they deserve more respect.
