Is Juan Manuel Lopez the next Wilfredo Gomez?

Juan Manuel Lopez exhibits power that I have not seen in a long time. Yes it is early in his career but the kid has so much raw talent, a good chin, and incredible power. Many of you may not care about the 122 division, but this kid is definately the future of 122 and 126.

He's hungry and that right hook is just nasty. But as you said its too soon to know, lets not forget he had a tough fight against Edel "Cuate" Ruiz? He keeps improving with every fight, we'll see when he fights another live tough fighter.

I care about any fighter with skill, no matter what the division is. And I've only seen hilights from last night, but I notice that he has a beautiful right hook... sorta like mine.

The kid has a lot of talent and a lot of physical strengths. I have seen him in 2 or 3 fights now...the performance against that other prospect Cuahtemoc Vargas sticks out the most. His timing seems to be VERY good for such a young fighter. Good power in both hands too.

I've only seen him once lose his temper, I think it was in a Cotto undercard fight. But he's a young fighter, I wouldn't be surprised if he loses his temper again.

he's one helluva prospect and it think his frame can take him to 3 weight divisions up. he has to keep that temper in check though.
