i would love to see miranda get DOMINATED by a guy like taylor. however, i also think that both winky and especially b-hops would make mirandas wild looping ****** pressure punches look worse than they looked against allan green when he would miss six in a row then get tagged. i think that taylor would beat him though. i just think that miranda runs around all crazy in the ring and has that fighters instinct, but is not technically sound at all. thats why i think the three best middleweight technicians would all beat him.

Taylor by UD. He will come to fight, although backing up...

This is just another case of people getting hyped up for a big puncher with marginal skill. If Green wouldn't have been so lazy and uninterested in the fight he could've made it a much better fight. Taylor, Hopkins, and Winky would damn near pitch a shutout against Miranda. If he fought all three, its possible he wouldn't land a single big right hand in all three fights combined. A good boxer beats a good puncher.

Taylor likes to back up into the corner....just where Miranda wants him to go. If Taylor stays off the ropes it's an easy win for him otherwise Miranda by KO.

Taylor would school Miranda with his Jab alone, He would counterpunch him all night and teach him a lesson. Taylor is a huge middleweight so a knockout is not out of question, Green knocked him down, Eastman stunned him, Abraham stunned him a few times. If Jermain lands that uppercut its lights out for Pantera. The only person who can beat Taylor is with good boxing skills and defense and counterpunching, Thats why he had close fights with B-Hop and Winky because they have that style, Miranda has'nt got good boxing skills and a poor defense, however he does have power.

Jermain by UD. If Miranda keeps doing that lunging in **** he's gonna get put in check by a strong guy. Both fighters are flawed but I think Taylor could handle Miranda better. Taylor has to work on his defense though.

I think Miranda stops Taylor. There's a reason Dibella hasn't put JT in with any punchers & that's because his defense can be exploited by a puncher like Miranda. Miranda has shown he can take big punches from other fighters & still be dangerous & win. The only "puncher" that JT fought was Hopkins & he was holding on for dear life & turning his back on Hops when buzzed. If Miranda has him hurt he's going for the kill.

Im not as impressed with Miranda as a lot of other posters are. I think Taylor beats him relatively easily.

I stand corrected on my earllier post. Miranda took 10 rounds to figure out Green not 12.

I've read a lot of logical observations, if Green only used his jabs consistently he could have won the fight. He had Miranda thinking and fignting out of his game plan for a while until he stopped to move and stick his jabs in the later rounds. And that gave Miranda the opportunity to rattle him.

Against Taylor? Taylor throws a lot of jabs enough to hurt opponents followed by combinations and I don't see Miranda getting pass that. If those jabs and combinations were able to neutralize Bhops and Winky I don't see Miranda doing better.

IF Taylor decided to use his very very good jab he would outbox the **** out of Miranda keepin him offbalance with the double jab. Taylor would just have to survive the occasional rush from Miranda.
