Teddy Atlas Predicts De La Hoya-Mayweather

He is knowledgable, but that does not make him a great trainer. Lots of trainers or fighters know technical aspects.
His one shining moment came when he "willed" Moorer to victory over Holyfield having an off-night. Moorer wasn't even listening to Atlas, he was getting even lazier when Atlas yelled at him.
Moorer showed way more motivation and desire before and after he was with Atlas.
What else did Atlas do? Humiliate Michael Grant. Work a short time with Donny Lalonde? Feed Elvis stiffs that didn't belong in the ring with him?
Atlas is one of the most overrated trainers in the game. His track record is not impressive, and his ability to "motivate" or "inspire" his fighters doesn't look all that impressive in this regard either.Comment

teddy's predictions are ok, and see oscar trying to adapt that style against mayweather, but another prediction that could be a factor is the one mosley made, if you guys heard mosley's interview yesterday,
he said that floyd might underestimate oscar's speed and power,
he will find-out out for himself in the ring, he is going to be surprised.Comment

"Unlike Mayweather's bout with Zab Judah, Atlas feels that De La Hoya has a very good chance to pull off the upset.
"It's not hard to like the youth and speed of Mayweather. But you can make a case for De La Hoya. You look at Zab Judah (vs. Mayweather) — he didn't have any substance," Atlas said."
Atlas picked Judah to beat Mayweather. He said on FNF that Judah's style would propel him to win an ugly fight.Comment
