You can become good enought to turn pro in a few years if you work hard enough at it.
But before you turn pro, you gotta go amatuer to get the experience. and stuff. so that u could actually compete in the pros.
Ive heard of people that started in their mid 30's, and only a few years later they were on ESPN.
Like one story, was a guy shoppin in a mall in Europe. He was about 33 years old. ANd he sees winky wright in the mall. So he goes up to him, and after a while Wright invites the guy back to his gym to train, two years later they tell this story on ESPN as the guy fights on the undercard.
Nice avatar, Lil Dice is the man and thats my favorite movie.
17 is not to late. Its deffinately not the perfect age like someone people said. You will start out against much tougher opposition because once you are 17 you fight people of any age. It could be you vs a 35 year old. If you were under 17 you fight in your age group. Most people over 17 are better then the younger cats too. It will be a lot tougher but its not too late.
