While Abraham sits on his ass and his promoter pretends he is training and making a comeback, Miranda is making more money than ever fighting on HBO. I do think Miranda should learn how to use a bucket and a mop though. He should at least help out in cleaning up Abraham's jaw next time he shatters it to pieces!

Miranda needs to box smarter, he looked like utter**** against Arbraham, he was in one of those moments where you feel tired of not knowing what to do...
Very predictable fighter and probably would never get hall of fame material, and I'm saying this ahead of time just because of the way he fought against Abraham.. Abraham could read every one of his moves ahead of time and play it smart.. He deserved to win... Miranda doesn't even deserve this much recognition... He just has a crowd pleasing style and thats about it...

1) Yes the decisions were ridiculous, I admitted that much. But the fighters are not responsible for that.

2) You can't overlook the deductions though, because at least the headbutt was legitimate, and one or two of the low blows. When an injured fighter knows he way ahead like that, he doesn't need all the rounds and so didn't try to win them all.

3) To take consolation for Miranda from this fight seems silly. He was outclassed to start (rds. 1-4), got frustrated and showed a lack of intelligence (the headbutt was moronic!), and still failed to get the knockout. His whole display from beginning to end was horrible.

Yeah but 2 point deductions?I never heard of that before thats just wrong......and I don't mean 2 as in seperate incidents I mean 2 different 2 point deductions....thats foul period. 3 fouls 3 points deducted thats that.

I totally agree, Abraham fought with a broken jaw and still kicked his ass, Miranda is WAY overrated, Abraham should beat him again in the rematch.

Not even close. Miranda easily wins the fight in any other country either by TKO in the 5th or by a UD. But that's the past. Who really cares. Im just happy Edison left the fight healthy with a smile and HBO fell in love with him. They are paying him big bucks and making him a star. If anything the bull**** that happened in Germany only got him attention and gave his career a huge leap. And one day there will be a rematch for big big bucks.

Things happen for a reason, and they worked out in Miranda's favor big time.

As a side note, I am still very interested to see what happens with Abraham. His trainer Ulli Wegner talked with Edison at the press conference yesterday. He was very friendly and complemented Edison as a great figther. He also said Abraham's jaw is not healed yet and he is not ready to fight. Yet Sauerland is putting out press releases that say differently. I guess we will know soon enough.
