Holyfield-Tyson I
Great event, big upset, good fight with some exchanges and too much wrestling and clinching.
It won The Ring Fight of the Year in 1996.
The same year that had Barrera-McKinney, Bowe-Golota II, Gatti-Rodriguez, Kelley-Gainer I, Liles-Littles II.Comment

barrera - hamed... people say it was a masterclass by barerra. he won probably 8 or 9 of the rounds but it wasnt anything super specialComment

Augustus-Ward
Sure there were a lot of punches thrown and landed, but i don't recall anything really big ever landing. This fight was hyped so much before I watched it, and when I finally did, I must admit I was a little disappointed.Comment

No it wasn't.
Tyson was more highly regarded than Hamed. Tyson was #1 or #2 on the p4p rankings at the time, Hamed was in the middle of the top 10.
And MAB was leagues more highly regarded than Douglas.
Douglas was a 42-1 underdog. Barrera was what....3-1 underdog?Comment

You are disappointed at a pound for pound slug fest that went on for 10 rounds nonstop? How can a boxing fan say that!
How is that fight overrated? That fight was the ****...no defense whatsoever, just a will of attrition and nobody gave an inch.Comment
