    Cotto-Urkal & Miranda-Green Staredowns must see !

Fighters faced off today at the final press conference for Saturday's huge fight card at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

"I here to defend my title at home with a lot of force and energy," stated WBA welterweight champion Miguel Cotto (28-0, 23 KOs). "I am very well prepared, just as in previous fights.

I'm going to defend my crown and flag, and we are going to get victory number 29 for Miguel Cotto and all of Puerto Rico." Mandatory challenger Urkal (38-3, 11 KOs) promised to give Cotto a boxing lesson. "I had to wait 18 months for this fight and I am prepared.

I hope to give him my best showing in the ring."
Promoter Bob Arum said the companion feature between middleweights Edison Miranda and Allan Green will be one of the best he has seen, reminding him of the days of Marvin Hagler.

There was great tension between Miranda and Green. Miranda (27-1, 24 KOs) stated that fans will see two knockouts, "one by Cotto against Urkal and another on my part against Green." The unbeaten Green (23-0, 16 KOs) stated, "I will show the people who Allan Green is. I will do my work inside the ring when it's between me and him."
