I agree. In all of Chris Byrd's recent fights he has taken a lot of punches against much much bigger men. He took a thrashing from Klitschko obviously. Even against guys like McLine and Golata who he was competitive against he took a lot of shots. And then there was his first fights with the Klitschkos, as well as his knockout loss to Ibeabuchi. These are all punches from much bigger guys. He still seems to have his wits about him, still an articulate guy, no slurring of the speech. He should get out now.

Yeah i agree he should get out now, he has made more than enough money and can say he won a heavyweight title
Byrd is aging, boring, and has been beaten up by both Fres Oquendo (whom most of us felt clearly beat him), and Andrew Golota (also robbed). Byrd has nothing to offer at heavyweight.
Sam Peter would knock him into next week (Ibeabuchi style), Valuev would humiliate him merely with his size, and both Klitschkos dominate him. He MIGHT be able to beat Briggs by using his jab and speed, but could get caught. These modern Heavyweights are just too big for Chris. He should move back to cruiser.
